Companies, organizations and individuals looking for a "one-stop shop" for the upcoming 2008 Republican National Convention in Minnesota need look no further than the newly formed event management firm Take '08 Events Unlimited.

The firm is headed by Erich Mische, Senior Vice President of mCapitol Management and former Chief of Staff to Senator Norm Coleman, along with Monica Notzon and Dana Harris, Partners, with the Bellwether Group.  In addition,

Allen Shofe, a veteran of Minnesota GOP politics, as well as an international government affairs executive, will serve as a member of the partnership.  They will join forces with other top D.C. and Minnesota political and hospitality leaders to offer front-to-back event management services.

Mische, Notzon, and Harris will work with Ryan Kelly of Synergetic Endeavors, LLC who brings a direct and thorough knowledge of the Metro Area and the hospitality community in Minnesota.

Other members of the firm include long time business executive and D.C. government affairs executive, John Milne, and long-time GOP activist and aide to former President George H.W. Bush, Debra Anderson.

"We believe that our unique combination of local people, coupled with the relationships and strategic networks we have in D.C., provides potential clients with a "one-stop shop" they won't be able to find anywhere else."

Take '08 Events Unlimited has already secured a number of local venues for the upcoming convention, as well as agreements with firms providing transportation, logistics and other support.

Morrissey Hospitality, one of the region's foremost caterers and event planners, will serve as the "preferred" vendor for the firm.

"We're very excited about the team we have assembled," said Notzon. "Our relationships with corporations, including our understanding of how events for the convention are planned and executed will give our clients a real leg-up as they try to make the most out of the opportunity from this convention.  Local businesses, restaurants and individuals or organizations that have venues all have a shot at benefiting financially from this unique convention resource."

The firm's website, www.Take08Events.com, provides additional information about their services, as well as a registration form on how local companies can immediately be put on a list of potential venues for the upcoming convention.

Corporations looking to plan events can also go to www.Take08Events.com to provide information about the type of event they are planning, and the types of assistance needed. “We have strong local ties to this community because we live and work here, this is our hometown,” said Ryan Kelly. “People trust us and know that when the convention is over, we’re still going to be here.  This isn’t just about doing an event for the convention; this is about long-term relationships and mutual success for the people of our community.”
